I stayed in Poland at Fundacja CAT in Leszno for about six weeks. During this time, I had a very meaningful and impactful experience. I learned many important things. I improved my communication skills, teamwork, and how to work with people from different cultures. I also gained experience in working with children and organizing educational and fun activities.

What I am taking back to my country is the importance of volunteering and helping others. I learned how small actions can make a big difference in people’s lives, especially in the lives of children.

This experience changed me as a person. I became more patient, open-minded, and responsible. I also became more confident in speaking and working in international environments.

Some things were challenging at first, like language barriers and adapting to a new environment. However, with time, I was able to overcome these challenges by communicating more, asking for help, and being open to learning.

I would recommend EKS volunteering to young people who want to grow, learn new skills, meet new people, and experience different cultures. It is a great opportunity for personal and professional development.

My favorite volunteer activities were visiting schools, playing educational games with children, and doing cultural presentations. These activities were fun and meaningful at the same time.

During my stay, I worked with children in both elementary and high schools. We organized games, interactive sessions, and participated in events where we promoted the foundation’s activities.

My typical day included planning activities, visiting schools, interacting with students, and sometimes attending events. Every day was different and full of new experiences.

What I will remember for a long time are the smiles of the children, the friendships I made, and the valuable lessons I learned during this journey.
