A new day full of possibilities! The focus of this day was environment and ecological issues, as no doubt it has a great impact on our well-being.

 

We started the day with cleaning the area next to the Osieczna lake and spent some hours collecting the trash. That was hard work, but amazing company and feeling that we were doing a good thing made it much better! Although the area did not look that dirty at the first sight, we got many huge bags full of trash. It was very rewarding to see them all and realizing we made a good impact on nature.

 

The cleaning activity was followed by a workshop about environmental problems delivered by the amazing Spanish team. During the workshop the participants did a little quiz and tried to guess facts related to the topic. It was very surprising to see how our estimations can be different from real numbers that makes them actually underestimations of the ecological issues!

Then, the participants played a memory game in which they continued to discuss issues and challenges the Earth is facing because of the human kind. A relaxing and chill end of the workshop was creating handmade eco-friendly scented cushions! The participants could choose their own design and let their creativity fly.

 

The day was very productive and thought-provoking indeed, and we got reminded that there is no planet B.
